Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: June 2026
Buzz Capitol is dedicated to providing our website to people with disabilities. News and information need to be accessible to all, and we are constantly striving to make our online news as easy to access as possible.
Our Accessibility Goals
We are working towards meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA. They are designed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and reflect the latest guidelines for Web accessibility.
We would like to make our sites accessible by:
- Making all written content readable and accessible.- Making it easily understood that it is written.
For this assignment, you are required to write alternative text for images that is meaningful. - Picking up items from the ground with the headlight beam.- Removing items from the ground using a light beam (headlight beam)
- Providing a sufficient colour contrast between the text and background colours
- Using color and font styles to highlight content variations that show up as an audience’s disability type
Using captions for videos (when appropriate) - Making forms and interactive components accessible.
Actually, what is the condition for us to access the program now?
Planned Accessibility Features
The following accessibility features are available with our website:
- True HTML headings with correct heading levels
- annotation on illustrations and concepts
Readable text that may be enlarged by up to 200% without loss of meaning or undoing the function.
Avoid using multiple possible routes to get to the same page.Use one and only one way to go to the same page. - Descriptive link text that makes sense out of context
Known Limitations
We are committed to providing all the content on our website as accessible as possible; though some content on our site does not conform fully with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The following areas are being continuously worked on which we know that improvements can be brought:
- Some posters meet certain image requirements but have images without the appropriate alternate text.- Some older articles have images that do not have the appropriate alternate text.
- Some embedded third-party content (such as social media posts) may have limited accessibility features controlled by the third-party provider
There will be some videos that are not yet 100% captioned.
There is a continuing effort to overcome these difficulties.
Third-Party Content
We use third party services including Google AdSense, YouTube and social media embeds. We make every effort to choose third party tools which are accessible, but we are not able to control the accessibility of these third party tools.
