Have a story you think we should cover? Buzz Capitol wants to hear from you. All tips are reviewed by our editorial team, and only those that meet our editorial standards are followed up on.
What Kinds of Tips Do We Cover?
We welcome tips on any of the topics we cover, including:
- U.S. political developments and news from Washington
- Celebrity news and entertainment industry stories
- News involving the British Royal Family or other royal families around the world
- Human interest stories with broad public relevance
- Lifestyle, fashion, and style trends worth covering
If you’re not sure whether your tip fits, send it anyway — we review every submission.
How to Submit a Tip
Email: info@buzzcapitol.com Subject line: “News Tip – [Brief Description]”
Please include as much detail as possible:
- What happened
- Who is involved
- The sequence of events
- Any supporting evidence, documents, or photos you can provide
- Any follow-up information you may have (optional)
What Happens After You Submit a Tip
Every tip is reviewed by our editorial team. If your tip is being considered for a story, a writer or editor may reach out to you for more information. Many tips do not lead to a published story, and due to the volume we receive, we’re not able to follow up with everyone individually about the status of their tip.
Source Confidentiality
We take the confidentiality of our sources seriously. If you’d like your name or identifying details kept out of a story, please let us know when you submit your tip. If you have concerns about the legal implications of sharing sensitive information, we recommend consulting an attorney beforehand.
For tips involving sensitive or legal information, we suggest:
- Using a personal (non-work) email address
- Requesting a secure or encrypted communication channel, if needed
What We Cannot Accept
We are unable to accept tips that:
- Contain illegal content
- Involve private individuals without a clear public interest
- Are defamatory or intended to harm someone without justification
All tips are evaluated against our editorial standards, and we reserve the right to decline any submission.
