Buzz Capitol respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects others to do likewise. WHEREAS, this is a DMCA Policy detailing how we deal with complaints of copyright infringement made under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
1. Reporting Copyright Infringement
Where you feel that any material on this site, referred to as an „inset“ that was posted by Buzz Capitol is held to be a violation of your copyright, you may be able to notify the copyright owner in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
To be a valid notice, you must contain all of the following:

A sworn assertion that any information contained in your notice is accurate and you are the copyright owner, or acting as their agent.

2. Where to Send DMCA Notices

3. Our notice in response to a valid notice.
If notified of a complete and valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Take credit for receiving the notice
Perform a timely investigation around the allegation.

- Record the notice that is observed and our reaction to it
We will comply with all valid DMCA Notices and actions within 5-10 working days.
4. Counter-Notification
If you feel that content you’ve posted on Buzz Capitol should not have been removed because of a DMCA notice, you can send us a counter-notification. Your Counter-Notice shall contain:
Your correct legal name and contact details.

A written statement under penalty of perjury stating that there are good faith reasons to believe that the information has been omitted because of mistake or misidentification.

5. Repeat Infringers
In compliance with the DMCA Buzz Capitol has a policy of terminating users who engage in “abuse” (repeated Copyright Infringements) upon them in accordance with the DMCA.
6. The use and misuse of DMCA Rights.
Including false and fraudulent statements in a DMCA notice is a serious issue. A person making a “knowing material misrepresentation” about material infringing under Section 512(f) of the DMCA can be held accountable for costs and attorneys’ fees.
7. Fair Use
Buzz Capitol recognizes and complies with the doctrine of ‘fair use’ as set forth in 17 U.S.C. § 107. Excerpts from the content may be protected by fair use for purposes of commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching or research. Content is removed based on a fair use policy that we carefully consider.
